You can try to soft reset infotainment system without restarting car: press and hold the Back button, the Nav button, and the Mute button for at least 10 seconds.

My 2022 CX-30 CE has two USB ports in the center console (armrest storage cubicle) & the USB port that previous model-year CX-30's had in the dash under the climate controls is now gone I have noticed. I only use my USB port (s) for my thumb-drive MP3 music collection & they work fine.
Aug 22, 2020 · 3 posts · Joined 2021. #20 · Dec 12, 2021. For everyone wondering about the blank screen problem, it's actually a feature. Holding down the Mute/Power button for 2 seconds will turn off the screen. Doing the same again will turn it back on. This I can confirm is true of 2021 CX-30's.
As noted, CarPlay has always worked fine until this week. Car doesn’t seem to recognize the phone is connected to launch CarPlay. Phone does connect via USB or Bluetooth to play music via Mazda menus. I have restarted my phone (iPhone 8 running 13.5.1) and reset the infotainment settings to factory with no luck. Made sure Siri is working.

Try to reset the system. Hold mute, nav and back buttons all at same time for at least 10 seconds. I'd start with pulling the negative off your battery for a couple minutes, that'd likely reset things. Also try turning the steering wheel 1/4 of a turn or 1/2 a turn and see if the start working with the wheel turned.

2019 CX5 Signature - No Low Fuel Light.
